Georgeous morning, refreshing. Sounds of Mill Creek rushing away the storm. Leaves and twigs scattered over the road by yesterday’s wind. 10mph. Feel the natural breezes through the truck. No dust. Hear sizzle and crackle from the gravel road. Woodthrushes, clear sky, green foliage all around cleared by storm. Pause to take it in. Feel my insides relax and inner warmth spreads. Foot off brake, coast forward 5mph. Pause by Oxley Run for inspiration.
